That is a fair assessment. It was an idiotic decision to make VirtueDesktops run under Leopard - there really isn't a great need for it there - and yes, those changes did result in Tiger support being broken. I apologise for your troubles.

For anyone else feeling like this, I have been working on a build that should repair the broken features. I'm also putting this version through testing before I release it to everyone, because the recent releases haven't fixed very much at all (so much as I though they would).

I am sorry. I do believe VirtueDesktops is a great tool, and I love working on it, but obviously I have a fair bit to learn about managing an open source product like this, and I need to stop treating it as a hobby like I have been.

Virtue has stopped working properly. Applications bind to wrong desktops; Finder refuses to be visible on all desktops, etc. General confusion.
Seems slightly idiotic that these problems should be the result of trying to get Virtue to work on Leopard. Surely Apple's got its own virtual desktop kit on Leopard -- it's on Tiger where it's needed!
Part of the beauty of Virtue was that it just worked. I've neither the time nor inclination to try and use the lash-it-together-and-see-if-it-holds botchware it has sadly become. A shame, but Virtue is now deleted from my Mac.
