VirtueDesktops: the end for now
11 03 2007I’ve been sitting on a fairly big decision (for me) for the last few weeks. The writing has been on the wall for VirtueDesktops since last year’s WWDC, and I had intended to release a nice, stable version for 10.4 users before I stopped work on the project.
I’ve decided not to finish that version.
Needless to say, it wasn’t easy to make this call - I’ve loved working on Virtue, and I think it has some features that Spaces won’t match. The sad fact is, that since June last year, it has all been effort poured into a product that has no future.

Virtuedesktop EOL
Shame i just found out that Virtuedesktop is quiting the development of the nice app. Really a bummer for all users on the Tiger OSX platform but i can undestand his decision because of the fact that leopard (new mac OS, soon to be released) is having …
Goodbye to VirtueDesktops
It’s always sad when a great piece of software reaches the end of its life. Tony Arnold has announced that he is ceasing development of VirtueDesktops. This is a real shame, as VirtueDesktops is one of my favorite free Mac OS X applications.
Farewell, VirtueDesktops

10.4では”space”なるデスクトップ環境がリリースされるし、仕方ないのかな。
ありがとう。ご苦労様。

OSX Leopard
So I installed Leopard on my machine here at work. It’s on this machine instead of the lappy or desktop at home because it seems as if the upgrade once again breaks the Cisco VPN client. You would have thought that after the 10.4 debacle they mig…
